TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University men's lacrosse team fell to Baldwin Wallace 20-3 on Wednesday in a rescheduled contest from last week.
The Yellow Jackets scored the first three goals of the game to take an early 3-0 lead. HU tallied their first score of the game on a
Tyler Alexander shot for his 18th goal of the season.
BW tacked on two more in the period taking a 5-1 advantage.
The Yellow Jackets stayed hot with the sticks scoring ten goals in the second quarter for a 15-1 lead at the half.
Heidelberg held the visitors scoreless in the third quarter. At 7:44 Alexander dished a pass to
Jaydon Septer for the shot in goal. Later, in the last minute of play,
Jacob Brickman found
Connor Reese from behind the net to cut the deficit to 17-3.
From there, BW would put in five more throughout the fourth for a 20-3 victory.
In goal,
Wilson Runnette tallied 15 saves on 35 shots.
Trevor Ley led with three ground balls.
The Student Princes will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Westerville, Ohio, to take on the Otterbein Cardinals. Gametime is set for 1 p.m.
