WESTERVILLE -- The Heidelberg University women's lacrosse team were defeated in a conference road game on Saturday.  Otterbein University defeated the Student Princes, 22-2.  

Otterbein held a 9-0 lead after one, but Heidelberg struck first in the second quarter.  Kelly Spence took a feed from Brianna Lloyd and deposited it in the net.  The Cardinals led 14-1 at halftime.  

Heidelberg scored again midway through the third.  Again, it was Spence who picked up the goal.  Spence recorded three shots on the day.  

The Cardinals scored the final four goals of the game.  

Courtney Moggio led Heidelberg with three ground ball pick ups.  

The Student Princes return to action at John Carroll on Wednesday.
