TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University women's lacrosse team lost its OAC home opener against Baldwin Wallace. They ended the night with a 17-5 setback.

Brianna Lloyd had three goals for Heidelberg, which dropped 0-8 overall. 

The Yellow Jackets scored ten goals in the first period, three of which in the first two minutes. 

Heidelberg had two of their own in the second, one from Sydney Shaffer and one from Brianna Lloyd.

HU held strong in the third, not allowing any goals and scoring two of their own. Kelly Spence and Lloyd struck back-to-back, which got Heidelberg to within 10 

Lloyd hit the final goal with 10 minutes to go in the fourth.   

Shaffer and Lloyd each registered four ground balls and one caused turnovers.  

Heidelberg visits Otterbein on Saturday for a 1 p.m. match.
