ADA -- The Heidelberg University volleyball team dropped two matches on the road at Ohio Northern University. ONU won the opener (25-15, 25-11, 25-19) and the nightcap (25-10, 25-18, 25-20) in straight sets.
Heidelberg slipped to 5-7 on the season while ONU improved to 11-2.
Shadra Hamsher paced the 'Berg attack with 12 kills on the day.
Liana Petitti was close behind with 11.
Setters
Julianna Pena and
Kelsey Custenborder dished out 15 and 12 assists respectively.
Nicole Thomas amassed 15 digs while libero
Sarah Oney registered 13. At the net,
Olivia Hopkins had a total of four blocks.
The Student Princes allowed 18 aces on the evening and attacked at a .077 clip as a team. HU has lost six straight matches.
The Berg will look to right the ship on Friday afternoon. Mount Union visits Seiberling Gymnasium for a 1 p.m. Good Friday doubleheader.
