TIFFIN -- The 2021 season continued for the Heidelberg women's lacrosse team on a pleasant Wednesday evening at Hoernemann Stadium. The Student Princes lost to visiting Baldwin Wallace University, 14-2.
BW improves to 1-5 while Heidelberg remains winless at 0-7.
The Yellow Jackets led 9-0 at halftime and tacked on two goals in the second half before HU got on the board.
Macy Zachary scored on a free position attempt midway through the period.
Later,
Angela Lulejian scored her 101st career goal, taking a feed from
Sydney Shaffer.
Lulejian had five shots, four draw controls and three caused turnovers.
Mandi Phillips made 13 saves in the loss.
On Saturday, the Student Princes will travel to Marietta College -- looking to avenge their 14-7 loss to the Pioneers in the season opener. The game is slated for a 1 p.m. start.
