TIFFIN -- Senior night in Hoernemann Stadium ended in a tough 4-0 loss against the John Carroll Blue Streaks on a misty Wednesday night. The Blue Streaks broke a scoreless tie early in the second half, then piled on.
The Berg's record dropped to 5-10-2 overall and 1-5-2 in the conference. John Caroll improved to 9-3-4 overall, 6-0-2 in conference.
Six seniors for The Berg were recognized at halftime:

Jarod Chavez,
David Tchad,
Spencer Tredwell,
Obed Aidoo, and
Simon Joseph.
The first half was scoreless, with a feisty 'Berg team drawing five fouls.
James Hoover put JCU on top with a goal in the 64th minute. A penalty kick less than three minutes later doubled the lead for the visitors. They would add goals in the 72nd and 86th minute.
Heidelberg simply did not see the opportunity for shots. The Blue Streaks dominated with 19, compared to the Berg's two, one from Ilyes Bougetouf and one from
Hussein Faraj.

The Student Princes close out the regular season at Muskingum on Saturday. Gametime in New Concord is scheduled for 2 p.m.
