TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University men's soccer team suffered a tough 2-0 defeat to the Otterbein University Cardinals on Saturday.
After the loss, the Student Princes dropped to 5-7-2 on the season and 1-2-2 in OAC action. Following today's win, Otterbein improved to 10-0-3 on the season and 4-0-1 in OAC Action.
An Otterbein header from Gabe Sharrock in the 21st minute led to the first goal of the contest. Sharrock was assisted by Cardinals forward Silver Abraham.Â
Otterbein struck once again just minutes into the 2nd period, scoring on a penalty kick from Will Isaac. Isaac now leads the OAC with 10 goals scored on the season.Â

Sigurd Ilestad led the way defensively for the Student Princes with a career-high 11 saves.

Spencer Tredwell with two shots on goal. The Student Princes totaled 5 shots on goal in the contest, but failed to breakthrough into the scoring column.Â
Heidelberg is back in action on Wednesday. The Student Princes visit Ohio Northern for a 7 p.m. contest in Ada, OhioÂ
