WESTERVILLE -The Heidelberg University Football team landed 11 players on the All-Ohio Athletic Conference teams, as voted on by the league's coaches and released Monday. The Student Princes had five first team selections, highlighted by OAC Special Teams Player of the Year,

Griffin Reese and
Trey Farris were first team selections.
Owen Taylor, Zach May,
Bryant Pfeifer and
Mason Villarreal received second team laurels, while
Austin Duffy and
Tyler Jackson were honorable mentions.
Niederkohr, a Carey High School product, blocked four punts and led the team in special teams tackles during his sophomore season.
Farris becomes the 35th player in program history to earn All-OAC honors for a third season. The linebacker from Atlanta tied for the league lead with three forced fumbles and finished the year with 68 tackles.
Miller, a junior from Portland, Mich., won the OAC rushing title, averaging 138.3 yards per game. He finished with 13 total touchdowns on the year and amassed a league-best 1,525 all-purpose yards. Miller was an honorable mention in 2024.
A senior from Hudsonville, Mich., Reese patrolled the center of the secondary with skill, picking off two passes and breaking up three. This is his first All-OAC honor.
Tight end
Micah Willink had a breakout season to earn his first all-conference accolade. A senior from Clymer, N.Y., Willink was second on the team in receptions and yards, and was a skilled blocker.
All four second teamers and both honorable mentions earned their first career All-OAC honor.
Offensive linemen
Owen Taylor (Rossford / Rossford), Zach May (Wayne / Elmwood), and
Austin Duffy (Kennesaw, Ga. / Kell) paved the way for Miller's dominance, winning HU's first rushing crown since 2014.
Villarreal (Fremont / Ross) was Heidelberg's leading tackler with 69 total stops. Pfeifer (Galion / Bucyrus) made 49 tackles and had a team-high 10.5 tackles for loss, four sacks and six quarterback hurries. Jackson (Toledo / Central Catholic) was fourth on the team with 43 tackles.
The Student Princes were 6-4 on the season, with two losses coming on the final play of the game.
Now third on the program's all-time wins list,
Scott Donaldson has compiled a 59-35 (.628) record in 10 seasons. Under his tutelage, The Berg has had 117 total All-OAC selections, including 11 positional players of the year.
Heidelberg has had at least 11 all-conference honorees in 13 of the last 15 years.
