Griffin Pendry was named an All-American by D3football.com. Pendry becomes the 18th player in program history -- and first safety -- to earn the honor.
Pendry, a third-team honoree, led HU with 63 total tackles and tied for the team high with three interceptions. The hard-hitting safety from Perrysburg was co-recipient of the OAC's Lee J. Tressel Award -- given to the league's top defensive back.
The Student Princes went 8-2 in 2021, finishing in a three-way tie for second in the rugged OAC.
