Biography

Tiffin, Ohio – June 22, 2011 - Seth Robertson (Burton, Ohio/Sunbury), a graduated senior, has been named to the Capital One Track & Field College Division Academic All-America Third Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Robertson is the fourth individual in Heidelberg University men's track & field program history to be named to the academic all-America list.

To be eligible for academic all-district honors a student-athlete must be in at least his second year at an institution and be in his second year in a respective spot. They must possess strong athletic credentials, while maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average. There are eight geographic districts and the college division team combines NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, Canadian and two-year schools. Heidelberg is located in district IV which includes institutions from the states of Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama. The teams are voted on by members of the College Sports Information Director's of America (CoSIDA).

While at Heidelberg Robertson studied accounting and computer information systems. His academic-all-district honor joins his spot on the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference First Team. It also comes on the heels of earning All-American honors in the 4x400-meter relay at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships last weekend. In his final season on the indoor and outdoor track he earned All-OAC honors in the 400-meter dash and the 4x400-meter relay. He helped to lead the outdoor 4x400-meter relay team to the league championship.
