TIFFIN, Ohio – The Heidelberg University Volleyball team fell in four to the Earlham College Quakers. After fighting back in the second set, and overtaking the third, the Student Princes just couldn't cinch the fourth.
The first set went to Earlham, then the women fought back but were just shy of taking the second, 25-21.
In the third set, the orange side came alive, finishing 25-12. Heidelberg tallied 13 kills, four blocks, and hit .375 -- beating Earlham's .029.
Sophia Simon led the team with 14 kills,
Emily Miller added ten.
The duo of
Maya Beck and
Soraya Jackson earned four blocks.
Senior setter
Olivia Miller led the Berg with 21 assists on the night.
The Student Princes will travel to Oberlin on Wednesday, the 9th. They will face off with the Yeowomen at 7 p.m.
