TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University Volleyball team swept the University of Northwestern Ohio Wednesday evening. The Student Princes dominated inside Seiberling Gymnasium, beating the Racers 25-23, 25-4, and 25-15.
The battle started slowly for the Student Princes. Each point of the first set juggled back and forth between Berg and UNOH. However, the team returned to the court blazing for the second set. Only allowing the Racers four points, Heidelberg dominated the set.
The energy throughout the game was infectious, from the starters to freshman
Madison Knox and sophomore
Corinne Stamm, who immediately recorded kills upon being subbed in, closing out the second set.Â
The third set was controlled by Heidelberg from the start. The Student Princes gave the Racers little hope for a comeback.Â
Heidelberg moved to 13-3 on the season, with a chain 28 straight set wins. The 10-game win streak is Heidelberg's longest since the 2019 season.Â
Freshman
Emily Miller led the team with 10 kills,
Sophia Simon added nine.Â
Maddie Reed recorded 19 assists with
Olivia Miller adding 17.Â

Soraya Jackson both tallied five blocks a piece and Davis led with 12 digs.Â
The Student Princes stay at home for a match against Denison University on Tuesday, Sept. 29th. First serve is set for 7 p.m.Â
