Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 DELAWARE, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University Volleyball team traveled to Ohio Wesleyan University for the Bishop Invitational, and swept four matches over the weekend. Berg beat Kalamazoo and Bethany on Friday, then returned Saturday to battle Rose Hulman and Anderson - beating them both in three sets. 

The Student Princes move to 11-3 on the season, and an eight game win streak- their longest since 2023. Heidelberg has won their last 19 sets.

Friday afternoon, Heidelberg defeated Kalamazoo in a 3-0 sweep. Berg took the first set 25-15, then rounded out the next two 25-17 each. 

Sophia Simon dominated the net with 10 kills, two aces, and four blocks. Emily Miller led the attack with 11 kills. 

Heidelberg's setters, Maddie Reed and Olivia Miller, put up a unified front, both recording 17 assists in the match.

Defensively, Reagan Davis picked up 14 digs. Reed added 11 and Cassandra Bower seven. 

Berg proceeded to take down Bethany College in three: 25-19-, 25-10, 25-14.

Emily Miller was an all-over threat, leading the team offensively with 11 kills, and defensively with four blocks and 11 digs. Riley Tople added 9 kills.

Sophomore Kailee Rank tallied a career best four aces.

Maddie Reed and Olivia Miller recorded 15 assists each. 

The Student Princes returned Saturday with a fire under them. With momentum from the day prior's victories, the team surged ahead to gain two more. Berg defeated Rose Hulman 25-17, 25-16, 25-12.

Offense was a full-team effort; Emily Miller led with 8 kills, Riley Tople and Soraya Jackson adding 7 each. Tople ruled the net with three blocks.

Olivia Miller directed gameplay with 17 assists. Maddie Reed tallied 16. 

Reagan Davis dominated defensively with 19 digs. 
The team closed out the weekend with a three set win over Anderson College: 25-18, 25-16, 25-14. 

The team dominated from the serve- having four players earn two aces each, in one match: Olivia Miller, Kailee Rank, Reagan Davis, and Maddie Reed.  

Leading the team for kills, Riley Tople with 8, hitting .467. Emily Miller added 7, Sophia Simon and Ava Devereaux 5 each.

Maddie Reed recorded 18 assists, Olivia Miller adding 11. 

Soraya Jackson and Riley Tople owned the net, tallying two blocks each. Reagan Davis recorded 12 digs in the match.

Heidelberg will host the second annual Spike Night Under the Lights on Monday, Sept. 21st.  The event will kickoff with a scrimmage between Calvert and Columbian. The Tiffin University Dragons and the Student Princes will take to the court at 7:30 p.m at Hoernemann Stadium.
