FORT WAYNE -- The Heidelberg University Women's Wrestling team had four athletes in competition at the Warrior Open, hosted by Indiana Tech over the weekend. The Student Princes placed two in the Pancake bracket.
Audrey Miracle finished fourth in the Pancake, going 3-2 at 110. She opened with a pin and a 12-8 win before falling into the consolation bracket. After another pin, her weekend ended with a loss in the third-place match.
Annabell Hunter also placed fourth, compiling a 4-2 record at 145. Hunter teched her first opponent, 10-0, before heading to the consolation bracket. She wrestled back with a vengeance, earning a tech, a decision and a pin. She ended with a loss in the match for third.
Maggie Milbery was 1-2 at 160 and Adisyn Kramer emerged with a 1-3 record.
Heidelberg is back in action on Sunday at the John Carroll Open.
