WILMINGTON -- The Heidelberg University Men's Wrestling team won eight of 10 weight classes to win an Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet on the road at Wilmington College on Tuesday. The eight wins included three pins and a tech fall, as the Student Princes improved to 1-1 in conference duals on the season.

Lee Woods got The Berg going in grand fashion, picking up a second-period pin. Woods led after the first, 3-0, and escaped early in the second. He followed with another takedown, and wore his opponent down to get the pin.

At 133, Colin Hering took the lead with a takedown in the first. He would add two more points en route to a 5-0 shutout win. In the process, he became the first 'Berg wrestler to hit the 20-win plateau this season.

Scoring was at a premium at 141, but Maddox Cade emerged with a 2-0 victory. He escaped in the second and rode out the third, tacking on a point for riding time.  Heidelberg led 12-0.

The Quakers got back in the dual with a pin at 149 and a tech at 157, trailing 12-11 at the midway point.

At 165, Travis Richardson righted the ship with a tech fall, dominating his opponent, 16-0.

Austin Dipzinski carried the momentum into his bout at 174. He scored early and held on late for a 9-4 victory.

Following an Owen Frizzell forfeit win at 184, Heidelberg led 26-11 with two bouts left.

With the dual win in hand, Landon Cook wasted little time at 197. He took his opponent to the mat and pinned him in 40 seconds.

Luke Chambers put a bow on the victory at 285, deftly muscling his way to a first-period pin.

Heidelberg improved to 23-1-1 all-time against the Quakers.

The Student Princes visit Otterbein on Saturday to participate in an OAC Quad Dual. HU will square off with the host Cardinals, Baldwin Wallace and Mount Union, starting at 1 p.m.
