| Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 BLUFFTON -- The Heidelberg University Volleyball team went 1-2 at the Sommer Center Spiketacular at Bluffton University over the weekend. The Student Princes fell to Hanover, 3-0, on Friday, then dropped Saturday's opener to the hosts, 3-2. HU capped the weekend with a 3-1 win over Adrian.  

Middle hitter Kaitlyn Uffman was named to the All-Tournament team. 

In the five-setter against Bluffton, Heidelberg won the first and fourth sets, but lost the second and third. In the fifth, Heidelberg held a 5-1 lead early and switched sides ahead 8-4. The Beavers fought back, using a four-point swing to take a 12-11 advantage. Later, tied at 13, Bluffton took the final two points to win the match.  

Adrian won the first set, but Heidelberg regrouped and handled business for the next three. Emma Jones had 12 kills. 

Heidelberg hosts Oberlin on Tuesday in the final tune-up before conference play begins. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
