TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University Men's Basketball team dropped a tough road contest against Muskingum on Saturday, 77-71.
With the loss, Heidelberg slips to 11-6 overall, 7-3 in OAC play, as Muskingum moves to 9-8, 7-3 in the OAC.
Markell Johnson-Nichols led the way for Heidelberg with 18 points.
Manny Hill and
Elijah Harden both scored 16 points in the effort.
Eric Panning recorded a new season high 17 rebounds, and Heidelberg collected 38 points in the paint.
The Student Princes were done in by an uncharacteristic shooting performance, going just 4-of-22 from beyond the arc.
Heidelberg returns home on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. against Capital University.
