Box Score WILLMORE, Kentucky -- After their season opener was abandoned due to lightning on Friday, the Heidelberg University Men's Soccer team officially kicked off the 2024 season with a loss to Asbury University on Saturday.

The hosts scored three times in the first half, but were shutout by the Student Princes after halftime.  Kaiden Reed and Isaac McKinney each had shots for The Berg. 

Mikael Paulson debuted as the starter in goal, making five saves in the loss.  

The Student Princes resume action on Saturday, playing host to Defiance College.
