TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University Indoor Track & Field teams raced out of the blocks for the first time on Saturday, competing across town at the Tiffin University Alumni Open.  The meet did not include team scores. 


Top Performances: 
Hudson Black won the Men's 1 Mile run with a time of 4:35.71
Trevor Estep was first in the men's 500 meter with a 1:18.97
Adam Kauble won the men's pole vault with a mark of 4.25m
Jayde Davis was third in the women's 400 meter, clocking 1:04.71
Kenzie Murray and Rebecca Johnson both cleared the bar at 2.85m in the women's pole vault, taking second and third.
Murray cleared 1.31m in the women's high jump, taking third
Jesse Vanlerberg was third in the men's triple jump with a mark of 11.82m
Josiah Brown took third in the shot put with a throw of 13.66m


The track and field team won't see competition again until the new year, where they will compete at the Sean Brady Alumni Invitational hosted by Trine University in Angola, Indiana on January 18th.
