NEW CONCORD -- The playoff hopes for the Heidelberg University Volleyball team took a hit on Saturday as the Student Princes fell to host Muskingum, 3-1. HU won the opening set, but dropped the next three, losing 22-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-23.
Grace Porter and
Kaitlyn Uffman had strong efforts offensively. Porter hit .310 and tallied 12 kills while Uffman attacked at a .417 clip and ended with 11 kills.
Olivia Miller dished up 23 assists and
Maddie Reed had 15.
Grace Dohanyos had a game-high 24 digs at libero.
The Student Princes have dropped five straight conference matches, but look to rebound at Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday. The first serve is slated for 7 p.m. in Berea.
