TIFFIN -- The Heidelberg University Men's Soccer dropped a 2-0 contest to Marietta College on Saturday. 

Eli Swirsky scored the first of two Pioneer goals in the first half. His shot found the net in the 13th minute after teammate Christopher Rodriguez banked it off the goalpost.

Rodriguez got his goal in the 33rd minute, darting the ball just past Ryan Miller to make it 2-0.

That proved enough for the Pioneers.

Marietta recorded twenty shots to Heidelberg's six. The Berg had multiple opportunities in the first half to get on the board, but couldn't connect.

Ryan Miller notched nine saves in the loss.  

Heidelberg hosts Ohio Northern on Wednesday, October 16th for another OAC showdown. Gametime is scheduled for 4 p.m.
