WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Heidelberg University men's soccer team finished their season at Wilmington College on Saturday, falling to the Quakers, 5-1.
The first half was controlled by the hosts as they netted four goals in the first 45 minutes of play.
Heidelberg scored a goal in the second half at the 55th minute, when
Oscar Najera headed one in the back of the net following a free kick from HU. This was Najera's third goal of the season, putting him one behind team leader
Hussein Faraj.
Wilmington added another goal in the second half to secure the 5-1 victory over Heidelberg.
Goalie
Bradshaw Uhlmann secured 11 saves during the game, including a few Wilmington near goals.
The men wrapped up their season with a final record of 3-14-1, 0-9 OAC. Their wins included Defiance (1-0), Thiel (2-1), and Geneva (3-2).

Emiliano Romero all scored their first collegiate goals during the season.
