Box Score 2 SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- The Heidelberg University volleyball team dropped a match with No. 19 Washington (Mo.) 3-2 before sweeping No. 5 Juniata College.
Heidelberg moved to 8-5 on the season.

The Student Princes took the first set against Washington, 25-23. Down 23-21, Heidelberg took the last four points for the win.
After losing the second set 25-15, Heidelberg fell behind midway through the third set and couldn't regain the lead in a 25-21 loss.
The Berg ran away with the fourth set, scoring the last six points of a 25-17 win.
In the decisive fifth set, Heidelberg jumped out to a 6-1 set. Washington battled back and managed to tie it at 10. Later, with the score tied at 13, Washington took the final two points for the win.
Sarah Parker attacked at a .500 clip and amassed 17 kills. Rachel Stroski added 10 kills in her return to the starting lineup.
Karlie DiRuzza tallied a double-double with 44 assists and 14 digs. Rachel Raimondo had 18 digs in the loss to Washington.
HEIDELBERG 3 JUNIATA 0
HU took three straight sets from Juniata to conclude their weekend. A kill by Parker gave the Student Princes a 25-23 win in the first set.
A service ace from Megan Mills gave the Berg a 24-22 advantage. Juniata scored twice before two attacking errors sealed HU's 26-24 set two win.
The Tricolor scored four straight points to take the third set 25-22 and complete the sweep.
Janessa Scott led the Berg with 11 kills in the match while Parker tallied nine.
Raimondo recorded 18 digs in the contest. Sydney Moore and Megan Flaherty chipped in with ten digs each.
Juniata made eight service errors in the match compared to Heidelberg's two.

HU returns to their home court September 20th when they host Denison University. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
