Box Score BEXLEY, Ohio – Heidelberg University men's soccer fell to Capital University 1-0 in OAC action on Saturday.
Capital (5-4-3, 2-1 OAC) scored the game's lone goal in the fifth minute when Bobby Atkin put in a loose ball off of a save by Heidelberg goalkeeper Matthew Stevens.
The Crusaders were able to control the quick Heidelberg attack in the first half. Heidelberg (8-3-0, 2-1 OAC) controlled play in the final 45 minutes, but were unable to find the equalizer.
Chris Koczak had four shots and Nico Samaniego had two shots on goal.
In the loss, Stevens had three saves.
The Berg hosts Baldwin Wallace on Tuesday evening. The game has moved from the Hidden Valley Soccer Complex to Mayer Field. The opening kick is slated for 7 p.m.
