Box Score TIFFIN, Ohio - The Heidelberg University volleyball team continued its hot streak, upending Bluffton University 3-1 on Tuesday night in Seiberling Gymnasium.
Senior Amber Welfle (11 kills, 10 digs) and sophomore Jamie Kluding (10 kills, 13 digs) had double-doubles and freshman Sarah Parker had a game-high 16 kills in the winning effort.
Bluffton (8-12) won the first set 25-18, but Heidelberg rebounded to win the next three sets, 25-18 25-13 25-17.
"For us, it's about being consistent," said head coach Jason Miller. "I thought we came out flat in the first set, but I was proud of the way the team regrouped and fought back."
In the third set, Heidelberg (8-9) had 19 kills and no attack errors.
Stephanie Romie served 21 assists and Alexa Frank added 18. Grace Samenuk had 16 digs.
Heidelberg will look to climb back over .500 this weekend. The Student Princes will play a tri-match at Marietta. After the match with the Pioneers at noon, Miller's squad will face West Liberty at 2:15 p.m.
