HOLLINS, Virginia -- The 10-day break did not slow down the Heidelberg University women's lacrosse team, as they cruised to a 21-1 pummeling of Hollins College on Saturday afternoon. Heidelberg now sits at a perfect 3-0 on the season.

Junior Dana Dudley scored three goals and added two assists. In her first appearance this season, freshman Angela Lulejian sparkled, scoring seven times and tallying an assist.

The Berg scored a whopping 15 goals in the first half, five off the hands of Lulejian. Junior Jen Kovarik opened the Student Prince scoring with her goal 45 seconds into the contest off a pass from Dudley.

Heidelberg kept the pressure throughout the second half, adding six more goals. Jessica Ballow and Mandi Phillips split time between the pipes, with Phillips making two saves.

Four Student Princes recorded hat tricks -- Dudley, Kovarik, Lulejian, and Anna Winnicki. Winnicki finished the day with three goals and three assists.

The Berg dominated the game on draw controls, 17-5. HU also outshot the hosts, 44-3.

The 21 goals sets a new program record for most goals scored in a game. It also becomes the largest margin of victory for the team.

The Student Princes will have another week off before returning to their home turf. HU will host Earlham College on Mar. 17. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m., the back half of a double header with the men's team.
