TIFFIN – On a picture-perfect day, 29 teams competed in the H-Association's 13th annual Back the Berg Golf Outing. Through golf, sponsorships and silent auction, the event raised more than $15,000 for Heidelberg's student-athletes.
Team 9A – Shaun Pfeil, Bart Clouse and baseball coaches Chad Fitzgerald and Keith Theis – turned in the best scorecard of the event. The group carded a 13-under 59, winning the outing by a stroke. They edged out Team 6A – Kyle Youngblood, golf coach Dan Hartsel, women's basketball coach Morgan Harrigan and director of athletic marketing & information Jeff Garvin.
Kevin Scully took home the prize in the putting contest and Zach Fowler won the chipping contest.
