SOUTH BEND, Indiana -- The Heidelberg University STUNT team opened up action with four games over the weekend at Saint Mary's College. Despite coming up short in each match, the program showed significant progress from a season ago.

In Saturday's season opener, Heidelberg trailed host Saint Mary's at halftime, 4-0. The Student Princes picked up a point in the jumps and tumbling third quarter. However, the Belles took the next three points and won, 7-1.  

Action continued on Saturday, with Concordia defeating the Student Princes, 8-2, in a 16-round affair. Central Michigan defeated HU in the finale, 16-0.  

Heidelberg returns to action at Walsh on Feb. 28.
