WESTERVILLE -- Heidelberg University Women's Soccer forward Brianna Braatz headlined a quintet of Student Princes named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference teams, as announced by the league on Wednesday. Braatz, a sophomore, was named OAC Forward of the Year, one year after earning OAC Freshman of the Year. Syd Hewer and Olivia Perry were second team honorees and Brigid Enright and Olivia Dulay received third team laurels.

Five All-OAC honorees tied a program record for a single season, joining the 1990 and 1993 seasons.

Braatz scored a career-best 10 goals this year, tying for the conference lead. She started all 17 games and played all but 22 minutes during the season.

She is the first player in program history to earn two Player of the Year honors. Braatz joins Sarah Williams (1995 OAC Offensive Player of the Year) as the only forwards to earn the award for the Tricolor.

Perry, a senior, earned second team honors for the third year in a row. She anchored the back line, providing a steady presence for all but 12 minutes of the season. She added one goal on the year.

Hewer, also a senior, is a second team honoree for the second straight year. Hewer had eight goals and four assists on the season -- including a stunning free kick goal in the final minute of a 4-3 win at Capital.

Enright, the 2024 Goalkeeper of the Year, had five shutouts during her senior campaign. With a 1.28 goals against average this year, she ended her career with a 1.08 GAA, the second-best mark in program history.

Dulay, a senior, earned her first all-conference recognition by starting all 17 games on the back line. She tallied two assists this year -- the first two points of her career.

"I'm extremely proud of Bri on this very deserving honor," said Head Coach Maddie McLaughlin. "I'm going to miss this group of seniors, including Perry, Hewie, Bridge and Dulay. They have set a very high standard for this program."

Heidelberg finished the year 5-7-5 overall, narrowly missing a berth in the conference tournament.
