WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania -- For the second consecutive week, the Heidelberg University wrestling team saw a host of wrestlers earn placements in an open invitational, including a second individual championship in a row from 184-pounder
Dylan Roth.
Other placers on the day included
Jeremiah Slagle (third),
Tre Bogetich (fourth), and
Dwight Parker (sixth).
As a team, Heidelberg placed sixth of 49 represented teams.
"It was a fun day today as we had some freshmen get their first wins and some upperclassmen place in their first tournaments," said head coach
Tony Patrizi. "I'm looking forward to this week as we host Wilmington on Wednesday for Mustache Mania."

Harrison Hadley dropped his first bout of the day before taking the next three in a row in consolations. His second win came in major fashion, 13-5. Unfortunately, Hadley fell out just before the placings finishing the day with a 3-2 record.

Iosef Nunez lost his first match before picking up a pin in the consolation round. Nunez then dropped his next match and finished 1-2.

Jake Justice was upended in two straight match, finishing 0-2.
149:
Dwight Parker earned sixth place after reaching his limit for the day. With a 5-1 record, he qualified for the fifth place bout, but maxed out his mat time for the day. Three of Parker's wins came with bonus points, a tech fall, a pin and a major decision.
Slade Todd fell at a critical moment just missing the placements. Todd did compile a 4-2 record, that included three pins.
Carson Pottenger was 2-2. Pottenger won 3-2 in his first, before falling to the consolation bracket where he picked up a pin and was defeated.
Jesse Goldufsky won his first bout 9-4, before dropping the next two, concluding his day 1-2.

Jacob Horsch and
Joe Damm each concluded their days at 3-2. Damm earned two pins while Horsch had one of his own on the day.
Micah Mydloski dropped consecutive matches to go 0-2 on the day.

Tre Bogetich took fourth overall winning his first three matches that slid before dropping the final two. His first win came courtesy of a major decision, 15-1 win.
Devin Miller went 2-2 on the day with his first win coming via the pin.
Dom Finch was knocked out early after losing his first two of the day.

Jeremiah Slagle took third with a 3-1 record. Slagle advanced to the semis after two tech falls. There, he dropped a narrow 7-6 decision before earning third via forfeit.
Alex Westbrook was 1-2 in his matches, with his lone win coming via the pin.
Braeden Kahl and
Adam Medeiros concluded their day 0-2.
184:
Dylan Roth cruised through to the finals in 184 with a pin, major decision and tech fall. In the finals against NCAA Division II opponent, Gino Sita, Roth won the decision 6-5 for his second straight tournament championship.

Eric Adkins was 3-2 on the day, with all three wins coming as pins.
Da'Veon Parker finished 2-2. Parker's second win was a first period pin.
Blake Jerome bowed out early going 1-2. His lone win was via the pin.
Gabe Martinez earned a pin early, but was undone his next two bouts, finishing the day 1-2.
Raven Brant was 0-2 in his two matches.
